AR app: Poclain AR — Technical information laid over the vehicle in augmented reality
Context
Poclain Hydraulics needed a way to make training and technical maintenance easier on their vehicles, out in the field.
Stakes
Let technicians find what they need about a part by laying the information straight onto the real vehicle, instead of hunting through separate documentation.
My role
UI and UX design of the tablet application: placing information in augmented reality on the various parts of the vehicle.
Outcome
An application delivered and rolled out at Poclain, making training and technical maintenance easier in the field.
